Virgin Voyages RockStar Suites: Every Suite, Perk & Price Explained

RockStar Quarters is Virgin Voyages' suite program, split into two tiers: RockStar Quarters (the entry suites) and Mega RockStar Quarters (the top of the ship). Both tiers exist on all four sister ships — Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady, and Brilliant Lady — and both come with a meaningful perk package on top of a bigger room, which is what separates a Virgin suite from simply paying for extra square footage.

The tier difference in one line: RockStar Quarters get the perks; Mega RockStar Quarters get the perks plus a personal-bar, first-in-line, money-can-buy-happiness layer. On a ship of only ~2,770 guests, suite guests are a small group, so the perks are not diluted the way they can be on 6,000-guest mega-ships.

Because every fare already includes all 20+ restaurants, basic Starlink Wi-Fi, entertainment, fitness classes, and port fees (see what is included), the suite premium buys space, access, and service — not food. That changes the value math compared to other lines, where a chunk of the suite premium effectively buys you dining you would otherwise pay for.

The regular RockStar Quarters tier includes three suite types, all with terraces and full perk access:

• Seriously Suite — The entry point. A well-sized suite with a terrace and hammock, peek-a-boo shower, and full RockStar perks. The way most people first try the suite life.
• Sweet Aft Suite — At the stern, with a terrace looking straight back over the wake. The view is the selling point: sunrise or sail-away from the back of the ship is special.
• Cheeky Corner Suite — The corner position buys a larger, wraparound-style terrace and more lounge space. The favourite for honeymooners and terrace people; on Brilliant Lady the corner suite family is marketed as Brilliant Corner Suites.

All three sleep two comfortably (some configurations more), and all include the full perk stack covered below: RockStar Agents, Richard's Rooftop, priority boarding, and early access to dining and Shore Things bookings. What they do not include is the Mega-tier in-suite bar program.

Choosing between them is mostly a terrace decision: standard terrace (Seriously), wake view (Sweet Aft), or maximum outdoor space (Cheeky Corner). Cabin-position details and deck advice are in our broader cabin guide.

Mega RockStar Quarters are the four named top-tier suites, and they add a service layer the regular tier does not have — most famously the stocked in-suite bar options, so your suite pours are handled rather than charged drink-by-drink, plus the first position in every priority line the ship has. The lineup:

Mega guests get everything in the RockStar perk stack, dialled up: the most attentive RockStar Agent service, the earliest access windows, and the in-suite bar setup. On a four-ship fleet with only a handful of Mega suites per ship, these sell out absurdly early — think 12 to 18 months out for marquee sailings.

Honest note: the Massive Suite is a genuine bucket-list room — the music room and terrace are unlike anything else at sea — but for a couple who mostly wants great perks and a beautiful room, a Posh or Gorgeous Suite (or even a Cheeky Corner in the regular tier) often delivers 90% of the experience for far less.

The perks are the real product, and they start before you leave home. Every RockStar and Mega RockStar booking includes:

• RockStar Agents — A dedicated concierge team who handle your reservations, plans, and requests before and during the voyage. Message them in the app; things simply get done.
• Richard's Rooftop — A private, suite-guests-only sun deck at the front of the ship with loungers, shade, and occasional hosted events. On sea days, this is the perk you will use most.
• Early access to dining and Shore Things — Suite guests book restaurants and shore excursions before general access opens, which in practice means Test Kitchen and The Wake at the times you actually want.
• Priority boarding and a dedicated terminal entrance — You skip the main queue at the terminal, check in through the suite entrance, and are typically among the first on board. Embarkation day goes from chore to champagne.
• Premium extras — Upgraded in-suite amenities and, for Mega RockStar Quarters, the stocked in-suite bar program.

Two things suites do not change: dining is already included for everyone (suites buy you better booking times, not better restaurants), and drinks outside the Mega in-suite bar still go on your Bar Tab or card — see our Bar Tab guide. Gratuities also still apply at $20 USD per person per day prepaid ($22 on board).

Expect regular RockStar Quarters to start around $4,500–$7,000 CAD per cabin for a shorter Caribbean sailing, with Cheeky Corner Suites and longer Mediterranean voyages running higher. Mega RockStar Quarters typically start in the $9,000–$15,000+ CAD range, and the Massive Suite on a peak sailing can clear $25,000 CAD. Treat these as planning ranges, not quotes — suite pricing moves with demand, season, and itinerary more than any other category.

A few patterns that consistently help Canadian buyers:

• Shoulder-season Caribbean and repositioning voyages price suites most gently — sometimes a Seriously Suite costs less than a peak-week Sea Terrace.
• Alaska on Brilliant Lady from Vancouver lets Western Canadians put the flight savings straight into the cabin budget.
• Per-person math flatters suites for couples: a $6,000 CAD suite is $3,000 per person on a fare that already includes all restaurants, Wi-Fi, and port fees.

Worth it if the perks match how you cruise; not worth it if you only want a bigger room. That is the honest answer. Because Virgin already includes every restaurant, entertainment, basic Wi-Fi, and port fees in the base fare, you are not buying access to food or shows — you are buying time, space, and ease.

Suites earn their premium when you: love sea days (Richard's Rooftop transforms them), care about specific dining times (early access wins Test Kitchen), hate lines (priority boarding and the dedicated terminal entrance are genuinely lovely), celebrate something big (the RockStar Agent makes moments happen), or drink enough that a Mega in-suite bar beats à la carte.

Suites are a weak buy when you: spend all day in ports, are happy at the main pool, book restaurants flexibly, and would rather bank the difference toward a second sailing. A Sea Terrace with a healthy Bar Tab and a thermal suite pass is a spectacular cruise for thousands less — and plenty of Sean's repeat clients settle exactly there.

Middle path worth knowing: sail a Seriously Suite once on a cheaper shoulder-season voyage. You will know within one sea day on Richard's Rooftop whether the suite life is your thing.

Suite inventory is the scarcest thing on these ships — a handful of Mega suites and a limited block of RockStar Quarters per sailing — so suites are where a specialist agent matters most, and booking through Sean costs you nothing extra.
